Hello all! Jolene here!
It's now been 6 months since my surgery. I can tell you with confidence that my breasts feel a lot more natural.
I was so anxious about my surgery but now it feels like 6 months passed so fast. I'd love to discuss with you guys a few positives vs. possible negatives/things I didn't expect.
Positives:
1. I feel like I have the body I was always supposed to have. I am quite chubby but I had small breasts. I always thought increasing my breast size would "balance" me out. I think that's true now that I have them.
2. Sometimes I'm shocked in the mirror haha, in a good way.
3. Most people have commented they look "perfect" (without knowing I had surgery)
4. I don't have to wear padded bras anymore!
5. They feel soft and natural. I think no one would be able to tell the difference.
Neutrals:
1. Some clothes fit differently. Clothes that didn't used to be "sexy" now reveal more cleavage, so I should be careful to wear a tanktop when working.
2. Sometimes I bump my new breasts into things because I didn't estimate the space. XD I'm surprised... wow, larger breasts do indeed take up more space.
Negatives/Things I Didn't Expect:
1. Nipple sensitivity. I still don't have full nipple sensation back, and the doctor told me that it takes about a month for the nerves to reconnect in small incriments. He said I may start feeling nipple sensation back now. I do feel little shoots of pain from time to time, but it definitely feels like its the nerve "working" again. Very mild, mild twitch.
2. I have almost full range of movement except when I lay down and stretch. Still feels a bit weird
to move like that.
Thanks for following me on this journey and I'll keep you guys updated!I just want to say thank you to the WOOA Clinic for making this dream come true. Just like I said in number one - I now feel like I have the body I'm supposed to have! Thank you WOOA <3 I'll see you again for my checkup soon!!
